Types of orders

  • Market order

A market order is an order to buy or sell that is executed at the current price available on the cryptoplatform.

  • Limit order

A limit order is placed below the current price for buying and above the current price for selling.

A limit order guarantees the price at which it will be executed but does not guarantee the execution itself. In the event of a price gap, the order will be executed strictly in accordance with the specified price, but partial execution may take place.

  • Stop order

A stop order is placed above the current price for buying and below the current price for selling.

A stop order guarantees execution, but does not guarantee the price of execution. In the event of a price gap, the stop order will be executed at the first available price, if the said specific price has been actually reached (indicated).
